Jeffrey L. Patterson received his B.A. in Public Administration from St. Leo College, his Master of Public Administration from the University of South Florida, and his J.D. from the University of Akron. He is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Ohio and Michigan. Mr. Patterson was born in Warren, Ohio and grew up in Niles, Ohio. Before beginning his law practice, Mr. Patterson was a law enforcement officer for more than 25 years, beginning in Columbiana, Ohio, then retiring as Detective Captain from the Clearwater, Florida Police Department and serving as Chief of Police in Boardman, Ohio. Throughout his law enforcement career, he was active in the union, serving as a local Union President and FOP State Labor Council Chairman. After leaving police work, Mr. Patterson also served as an Assistant Prosecutor for Summit County in Akron, Ohio. He now practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, negligence, employment law, civil litigation and criminal defense.
