Who and What is Slater and Zurz, LLP?
I'm Jim Slater at Slater & Zurz.
My name is Rick Zurz. I am a partner in the firm of Slater & Zurz. Well, Slater & Zurz is a premier litigation firm. We handle all types of cases from small automobile accidents to major product liability cases. We get these cases because we have a reputation of getting results.
We work in many different areas. One of the primary areas that we work in is the--what we call personal injury, where individuals are victims of the carelessness of drivers or perhaps a negligent manufacturer in product liability cases.
We also have a division of our firm that works in nursing home abuse. And we also work in the probate as well as in the domestic areas.
I want people to call me, irrespective if they think they have a case. There's no obligation. And I believe it's a responsibility of the legal community to be available to individuals to answer their questions.
If you have a question and you're reluctant to call a lawyer, please call me because I know there is some underlying feelings against pursuing a claim. People feel it's wrong to pursue a claim. But I could indicate to you that the insurance company who is representing the individual who caused you injury is not your friend. They will talk to you very nicely. But they will be looking out for themselves. They will be trying to get you to resolve your case for substantially less than its proper value. And I advise you if you have any concern to please call me and let us discuss what your rights are so that you do not prematurely resolve your claims. My job is to do what insurance companies would like us not to do. And that is to make them pay full and proper compensation to you.
