Columbus Attorney Free Consultations
A free consultation is a meeting with one of our experienced attorneys about a client's legal matter. We do it initially on the phone. And if we feel that the matter has merit to pursue, we invite them to one of our offices, either in Akron or Canton or Columbus. If that is not convenient, we meet with the client at their home at their convenience, whether it's on weekends or evenings. We make ourselves available for them.
When a client calls us and meets with us, whether at their home or at our office or at their business, there is absolutely no obligation. Matter of fact, we often encourage our clients to defer engaging us at that moment and to reflect on it and call us back if they choose to engage our services.
When someone calls us, there is often times an episodic event that made them call us. And they are filled with questions. And they're looking for answers. And it's very difficult in many cases to give them direct answers to all of their questions without engaging in research and studying the issues. But what we try to do is entertain all the questions, give them the answers we can, and defer answering those questions to another date if we need to.
The most important thing they could expect is they could expect the Slater & Zurz commitment. And our commitment is to do everything necessary to effectuate a recovery for the client and to allow the client to understand what their rights are, to understand that every matter has parameters. And sometimes the parameters that a matter has is not necessarily the expectation of a client.
And specifically, I take the point of visiting with them and trying to identify what the financial aspects of a case would be if the matter went to a jury trial.
There is no charge for any consultation of Slater & Zurz. And that irrespective of whatever the matter is, it just is simple and as plain as that.
