James E. Brown
James E. Brown is an Ohio native and has practiced law in Northeast Ohio since 1983. He is licensed to practice in all courts of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Northern District, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Sixth Circuits.
Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University. He also earned a Master's Degree at Kent State. He graduated with honors from the University of Akron School of Law. Mr. Brown has been an adjunct professor at Kent State, the Universoty of Akron School of Law, and the Ohio State University campus in Wooster, Ohio. He is an active member of the Ohio State and Akron Bar Associations, and has been a frequent lecturer for Continuing Legal Education courses for lawyers.
Mr. Brown focuses his practice in the areas of Family Law, Probate matters and Civil Litigation. He is trained in collaborative divorce practice. He welcomes clients to contact him for any family law need.
